Dr. Jack Smadja

Specializing in dermatology and surgical dermatology since 1986, Doctor Jack Smadja graduated from the University of Paris VII, Saint Louis-Lariboisière Hospital. He practices at Saint-Louis Hospital and in his private office, skin and scalp cancer surgery, as well as many aesthetic techniques. Dr Smadja has been practicing hair micrografting by FUT (strip) and by FUE (follicular unit excision) for nearly 20 years and knows how to combine these two techniques if necessary.

He regularly publishes articles and makes many presentations on dermatological surgery, hair transplants and aesthetic techniques in order to share his knowledge with other practitioners in the constantly evolving fields of aesthetics, dermatological surgery and hair micrografting. Teacher for university degrees, he participates in congresses in France and abroad. He also is an investigator in the commercialization of Hairstetics synthetic hair implants.

Dr. Smadja masters all aesthetic procedures for the treatment of wrinkles and aging process like injection of hyaluronic acid and botulinum toxin, and also by medium or deep superficial peels.

He also performs treatment for axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and hands by injection of botulinum toxin under simple cryo-anesthesia, on an outpatient basis.

Many other skin treatments and corrections are also carried out by Dr. Smadja, such as Lasers and especially in the correction of acne scars, or of other origins. Other Lasers are used for more specific to the treatment of rosacea or fat overload by cryo-lipolysis.
